Neteller Goes Back Into U.S. Market
The parent company of Neteller, Optimal Payments PLC announced
that they are bringing Neteller back into the United States. Before
the UIGA that shook up the online gambling world in 2006, Neteller
was one of the most popular online payment options for gamblers
in the United States. Now Neteller is poised to bring services
to U.S. customers again.
"The new Neteller service and Net+ Card we are bringing
to the US have been re-branded with a new look and feel. We are
providing updated features, capabilities and security as well
as quick access to funds through our Net+ Card," Neil Erlick,
executive vice president for business development said, "Together
with our US financial institution sponsor, Optimal Payments will
continue to be a leading provider of integrated payments solutions."
Neteller is already active in Nevada and New Jersey as both of
those states have legal online gambling. How far Neteller will
go into the U.S. market is unclear but there is no question Neteller
will be offering their products to customers in the United States.
